Peter swam in MCSL starting at age 8, first on the Tilden Woods Dolphins, and, since he was 13, for the Seven Locks Sharks. He also swam year-round for RMSC. He swam for the varsity swim team all four years of high school and was co-captain his senior year. Peter was known for his breaststroke, freestyle, and team spirit. Peter coached for 2 years with Montgomery Stroke and Turn Clinic and has been providing private swim lessons for the past 5 years, including 2 years as an Assistant Head Coach at OGC. While teaching kids good form, he makes practices and lessons fun and helps kids build confidence in the water. Peter is excited to build team culture and keep the fun going all summer long!

Hi everyone! My name is Matti Harvey, and I’m excited to be back for my 14th season with the Cedarbrook Seahawks and my 8th season as a coach. Since joining the Seahawk Family in 2010, I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles, including Kiddie Hawk Coach, Head Kiddie Hawk Coach, Assistant Swim Team Coach, and now, I’m honored to be your Head Swim Team Coach!

I graduated from Walter Johnson High School in 2023, where I was a four-year member of the varsity swim team and served as team captain my senior year. During that time, our team won two state championships. I’m now a rising junior at Franklin & Marshall College, studying Public Health and Public Policy with a Legal Studies Certificate. On campus, I’m a member of the swim team, represent our team on the Student Athletic Leadership Council, work in the admissions office, and serve as an executive officer of the Asian American Alliance.

Cedarbrook is so much more than just a swim team to me - it's family. The memories, the traditions, and the community are what make it so special. I can’t wait to be back on deck with all of you this season.

Hi! I’m Sarah Stone and I’m excited to be an assistant coach this summer! I swam for Cedarbrook since I was 6 and swam year round for RMSC since I was 8. I’ve been coaching and teaching swim lessons for 6 years. I’m now going into my junior year at Purdue University where I’m majoring in math. I’m looking forward to another great summer!

Isabel has been a Seahawk for 12 years, and she is so excited for another Cedarbrook summer! This will be her second year as a head Kiddie Hawk coach, and her favorite part of the job is having fun with kids on the pool deck. Outside of the Brook, Isabel is a rising senior at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart and has been a club swimmer since she was 11 years old. She is also a pool operator and lifeguard, so you can always catch her at the pool! Some of her favorite traditions are Fun Friday practices, the end-of-year banquet, and the mini meet. She cannot wait for another great year!!

Hi! I’m Ellis Harvey and I am one of the Kiddie Hawk  Head Coaches this summer! I have been swimming competitively for 10 years and I am rising junior at Walter Johnson High School where I am apart of the varsity swim team. This is my 3rd year coaching the Kiddie Hawks and I love teaching the kids the strokes and water safety, just as I learned them when I started at Cedarbrook. I’m looking forward to a fun season! Hi my name is Jax and I am one of the Kiddie Hawk Head Coaches this year! I have been a Seahawk since I was 4 years old. I swim year round for All Star Aquatics and for my high school team at Gonzaga where I’ll be a rising senior. I am looking forward to another great season with both new and familiar faces!
